Our Learning Feed

Inspired by our story Grandad’s Island we created our own islands using natural materials from the forest.The children used excellent communication skills and great strategies to collaborate on these pieces. Well done Year 2!

This week Year 2 started Yoga in PE. We discussed it's benefits and practiced lots of different poses like butterfly, mountain, tree and eagle. We found the sessions quite relaxing and enjoyed trying to guess the names of the poses.

We combined all of our art skills to produce a Great Fire of London inspired piece of art. We used oil pastels, watercolours, charcoal and tracing paper to create our final pieces.
