Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This week as part of our Narrative Immersion we met Baby Bear from Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We was very sad that Goldilocks had eaten his porridge. 🙁

We had lots of fun making porridge with Goldilocks and then made a pictogram of our favourite toppings. What would you choose?

In Maths we used the scales to explore and compare objects. We used lots of mathematical vocabulary including heavy, light, more, less, heaviest, lightest, lighter, heavier, balanced, scales and equals.

The Three Little Pigs 🐷

This week in Maths we have been comparing numbers by building towers. The wolf then came and blew them down!

This week we met ‘Squeaker.’ We helped him build a house, counted bricks, wrote him ‘happy new home’ cards and read and acted out the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs 🐖 🐖 🐖

Week 3 - The Ugly 🐥 Duckling

Wk 3 After reading The Ugly Duckling, Barcelona Class were inspired to paint their own self portraits to celebrate how unique we are!

Week 3 Barcelona Class had a great time making self portraits out of natural materials and having lots of fun in the woods 🌳

Week 2 Barcelona Class had a great time during our first Forest Thursday session. We made Fairy Godmother wands 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️
