A huge highlight of our week was having parents in for the Success Square Share, it was wonderful to see how proud the children were when sharing their work with you. They have had such a brilliant first term in reception and have adapted to school life very well, we cannot wait to see what next half-term has in store for us all.

Have a lovely weekend.

Week 3 : Week Commencing Monday 18th September 2023 - Friday 22nd September 2023

This week in Magic Story World, we met the mother of the little boy. She told us that she had noticed things changing around her in nature. For example the leaves of the tree in her garden had started to grow and the shoots of the plants have started to show. We agreed to find out more about seasons and nature. Therefore throughout the week we have had lots of nature and seasons based activities.

Week 2 : Week Commencing Monday 11th September 2023 - Friday 15th September 2023

This week we started with our Magic Story Box Ritual. We met a little boy who has found a little hole in his garden. He isn't sure what is down the hole. We told him lots of ideas and agreed to find out more throughout the week. Over the week, the children made pictures and flaps of things that could be down the hole.

Week 1 : Week Commencing Monday 4th September 2023 - Friday 8th September 2023

This week the children have focused on getting to know each other. Around the room we have had lots of fun activities to teach the children how we use the different areas. We have been really impressed with how quickly and easily they have settled in. Well done team Reception!

Welcome to our Classroom

We can't wait to welcome all our children into the classroom this week. This week we are focusing on getting to know each other, we will be doing this through circle time activities, games and team building activities.
