A Very Warm Welcome to Ludworth
On behalf of all the children, staff and governors at Ludworth Primary, we would like to welcome you to our school community and family at Ludworth.
Thank you for considering Ludworth Primary School as the next phase of your child’s education. We are really looking forward to getting to know you and your family, as you begin a new chapter in your life.
Although the prospect of your child starting at school in September may seem a little daunting, our priority is to establish strong, caring and trusting relationships and we want you to know that we are continuously adapting our practice to ensure the needs of all children and families are considered.
We are looking forward to working in partnership with you to ensure that your child thrives at school, discovers new interests, develops a true love for learning and achieves their highest potential through ‘being their best self’.
It is our privilege to share the role with you in developing and nurturing your child’s learning and development as they embark on their school journey at Ludworth. As part of our close partnership, we seek to offer an open-door policy and we endeavour to be on hand to answer queries or discuss concerns you may have.
Once it is confirmed that your child has a place at our school and you have provided us with a contact email then our Reception team will be uploading some videos for you and your child/children to watch via email and on Tapestry. We hope that by seeing the classroom and the staff’s faces regularly, from now until September, will allow the children to feel more confident, safe and secure to begin their journey at school.
Our intention is to make the transition process to school a memorable and positive experience so that your child feels well-prepared for starting Reception in September 2024.
